Description: The exhibition stems from the cycle of workshops ‘The care of images. Appunti e disegni per immaginarsi comunità, con affetto’ (Notes and drawings for imagining the community, lovingly) organised by Marta Cavicchioni and Alessia Muntoni with Lunàdigas APS within Dreamers, a project financed by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in collaboration with Sport and Health S.p.a., to promote the culture of sport and encourage youth to be protagonists, with free activities aimed at girls and boys aged between 14 and 34. The workshop started with the viewing of the film “Lunàdigas ovvero delle donne senza figli” (Lunàdigas or women without children), food for thought to stimulate a debate on the issues of parenthood, self-determination and rethinking a new idea of community.
The course involved four young people aged between 16 and 26 and people from the local community. It took the form of the design and realisation of art notebooks on the issues addressed and the design and development of a narrative through images in the form of an exhibition.
